Shriners Children's Texas is the newly consolidated hospital in Galveston that specializes in orthopedics, burn care, and plastic and reconstructive surgeries. With a collaborative care approach, each child in our inpatient services receives a customized care plan that is updated daily and allows for input from multiple departments. With the tools gained at the hospital, our patients are able to embrace their scars, establish a new normal, and return to the joys of childhood.
